General view of Tywyn Wharf station with Sir Haydn and coaches in the platform. The station has recently been rebuilt and also houses the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum. Wharf station was so called because of the wharf or transhipment point where slate was transferred to the Cambrian coast line, which still runs behind the fence in the background. 25 Mar 2005. |
