Ex Southern Railway V [or“Schools”] class 3 cylinder 4-4-0 no. 30926 Repton at Darnholm with a Grosmont to Pickering train, 31 Aug 2004. This class was introduced by Richard Maunsell in 1930 and were the most powerful 4-4-0 engines ever to run in Britain. They were all named after public schools.
