69621 approaching Weybourne, 26 May 2008. The N7 class was introduced in 1915 by A.J Hill of the Great Eastern and were designed for the intensive suburban services into London Liverpool Street, building being continued by the LNER up to 1927. This one appeared in 1924 and was the last engine built at the GER’s Stratford works in East London.
