Beyer Peacock 0-4-0ST no.1827 at Caverswall Road, 19 July 2008. This locomotive was built in 1879, originally as an 0-4-2 with a crane mounted at the rear. It was used for shunting at Beyer Peacock’s works at Gorton, Manchester until 1966 and has been at Foxfield since 1996.
